Kisani Upward is a Gamilaraay/Wiradjuri Yinarr (Gamilaraay- Woman), from Tamworth NSW. She is a Mother, Artist, Registered Nurse, Senior Research Officer at the Djurali Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Research and Education, Chair of the Manna Institutes First Nations Advisory Group, member of the Australian Symbiocene, and has recently submitted her PhD thesis with the University of New England.

I chose Offbeat Sweetie to represent my artworks because of their incredible contributions to making the world a better place.
Not only do they donate monthly to Childrens Ground; a First Nations led organisation that strives to create a better future for our peoples, but Offbeat Sweetie also strive to leave a greener footprint in the production and make of thier products.
These boots are made from 100% vegan leather and they use 100% recycled packaging!!!! ♻️
